Sales Representative, North America

Position summary
We are not hiring a seasoned sales veteran. We are hiring a high-potential professional we can develop into the next generation of commercial talent in this business.

This is an opportunity to grow a territory backed by a mature product, an established customer base, and a decade of proven deployments. It also rewards persistence, focus, and a genuine commitment to understanding how the public sector buys and operates.
Level: Early career (0–2 years’ experience) · Reports to: Head of North America
What you will do
Conduct account-based research on municipal, provincial, and state government targets across North America — including police services and transportation agencies — to build a focused, high-quality prospect list
Run structured outbound outreach by email, LinkedIn, and phone to generate first meetings
Monitor intent signals, RFP and bid postings, and procurement activity to surface opportunities early
Support RFP and bid responses in partnership with the global sales team
Lead discovery calls and product demonstrations
Maintain a clean, accurate pipeline in Salesforce with disciplined forecasting and activity tracking
Report weekly to the Head of North America on pipeline movement, activity metrics, and market intelligence
Represent SenSen at industry conferences, trade shows, and user forums
Develop deep subject-matter expertise across SenSen’s product suite, spanning mobile and fixed-camera enforcement, road and asset condition mapping, and operational intelligence
What we are looking for
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply)
Exceptional written and verbal communication
Natural fluency with AI tools as part of your daily workflow
Strong resilience and patience: public-sector sales are relationship-driven and progress often compounds gradually before it accelerates
Genuine curiosity about civic technology, public safety, transportation, or smart cities
Legally authorized to work in Canada
Willing to travel approximately 25% across North America
Preferred:
Exposure to government, public sector, or B2B enterprise technology (internships count)
Working knowledge of Salesforce or another CRM
Familiarity with Canadian public procurement processes and funding programs

Candidates who expect every opportunity to be handed to them rather than actively pursued
Candidates who view government as a slow or uninspiring sector to work in
